HOW TO FIND YOUR OWN LANGUAGE

In this series, I attempt to outline (and at times blur) the edges between language and communication, centering joy and community. Spanning from a gesture (To sew a maple leaf to a ficus), the performance, zine, photos, and field notes work around the question “Can we communicate with the other-than-human?” I look at linguistics and I look at my closest relationships with people and places to find the language that articulates my artmaking.
