θ - TH

A gathering part of the How to Find Your Own Language series. θ - TH, was part of the first edition of CB Nuit where community members of Corner Brook, Newfoundland came together over a city-wide celebration of art.

“TH”, visually represented by the phoneme θ, is the first sound you make when you say “thank you”, “thanks”, and “thoughtful”. I wanted to spread this ethos via postcards of the activation of the phoneme. The result was a temporary writing centre where local and international folks had a chance to send a postcard to a loved one they were grateful for.
